COVID19 Protocols at NASC [July 2021]
Today the Premier announced that schools, preschools and children’s centres will reopen to all students tomorrow (Wednesday 28 July).
As a result, our school will be open and lessons will be running as per usual.
We will not be offering an alternative home-based learning program unless you are impacted by SA Health quarantine orders.
As the Chief Public Health Officer said, just because the hard lockdown is being lifted does not mean that the risks associated with COVID-19 have passed.
As a result, we will:
• Minimise the number of people coming and going from our site.
• Postpone all school events, excursions and camps for the next week.
• Require all staff and students to wear masks when indoors. Please note that staff will not have to wear masks while teaching or working directly with students.
• Require all students and staff to use Covid Safe Check via QR code or sign-in sheet.
Students can wear their own cloth masks. We also have supplies of surgical masks available if they need them.
You might have questions about wearing masks. It’s important we continue to follow SA Health advice and your continued cooperation is greatly appreciated as we help students and staff with this necessary change.
If any student refuses to wear a mask, they will be sent home unless a medical exemption has been provided to us.
Thank you very much for your support during the lockdown. We look forward to having your child back at Northern Adelaide Senior College tomorrow.
